A special fast-track court in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case took cognisance of a chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against 13 accused persons. Special judge Ajay Gupta asked the accused to submit responses to a CBI application that sought permission for further investigation.
The special court is scheduled to begin arguments on framing charges from Thursday. During the hearing, the court produced the accused persons through video conferencing from Tihar Jail.

The judge stressed that stakeholders, including the media, have a responsibility to avoid reporting that could prejudice the trial.
