What happened
The Government of India has launched Ayushman CAPF under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) for personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and their families. The stated objective is to provide cashless and paperless medical treatment at empanelled private and government hospitals across India.

Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is India’s flagship public health insurance scheme. Ayushman CAPF uses that wider platform to target a specific service group that often serves in difficult postings and requires dependable medical support for personnel and families.
