The National Health Authority held a two-day National Review Meeting on Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in New Delhi. The meeting matters for UPSC because it links two major health-governance initiatives: one for cashless health cover and one for digital health infrastructure.

What happened
The National Health Authority, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, commenced the review meeting at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, New Delhi. Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Ayush and Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav, inaugurated the meeting and released the NHA Annual Report and three guidance compendiums for the District Implementation Unit (DIU), Beneficiary Empowerment (BE), and Hospital Empanelment Module (HEM).
The meeting brought together senior officials from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the National Health Authority, and States and Union Territories to review implementation and to identify priorities for the next phase of healthcare reforms.
