CAPF Punarvaas scheme linking WARB with PSARA website for re-employment
PIB announces CAPF Punarvaas scheme linking WARB with the PSARA website for re-employment of retired and willing Ex-CAPF/AR personnel.

- The Ministry of Home Affairs launched CAPF Punarvaas as a portal linkage for re-employment support.
- The PSARA framework regulates private security agencies and is part of the new linkage.
- The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board provides the retired-personnel data channel used in the linkage.
What happened
The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched CAPF Punarvaas by linking the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 website with the Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (WARB) website. The stated purpose is to make data of retired and willing Ex-CAPF/AR personnel available to private security agencies for re-employment.
Background and earlier position
UPSC may frame CAPF Punarvaas as a welfare-linked manpower recycling measure for retired Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles personnel. The issue connects institutional welfare, private security regulation under the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, and the broader demand for trained security manpower in India.
