What happened: DPIIT and CSI sign a MoU to strengthen support for DPIIT-recognised startups

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Council for Startup India (CSI). The MoU aims to strengthen support for DPIIT-recognised startups by facilitating access to investment, strategic partnerships, mentorship, leadership development, and global markets.

Under the MoU, CSI is expected to run dedicated programmes that support startups in investment readiness and global scaling. The government statement also links the collaboration to faster, more sustainable scaling and improved global competitiveness for innovation-driven startups.
