What happened
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, partnered with Vultr India Pvt Ltd to improve technology infrastructure access for DPIIT-recognised startups. The partnership aims to enhance startups’ access to cloud computing resources, provide technical capacity-building, and support digital infrastructure adoption so that startups can build, scale, and innovate more efficiently.
Under the partnership, eligible DPIIT-recognised startups are announced to receive: cloud credits (credits for using cloud services)preferential pricing for cloud servicestechnical support through Vultr’s startup programmes
The collaboration also includes structured training sessions and technical handholding on key cloud areas, including cloud computingstoragedatabasesKubernetes (a platform used to manage and scale container-based applications)networkingapplication deployment
Vultr India Pvt Ltd is also expected to explore participation in Startup India and DPIIT-led events to increase engagement with the startup ecosystem and promote technology adoption.
