What happened: India–Argentina Business Forum in Buenos Aires (25 August 2026)
India and Argentina used the India–Argentina Business Forum as a structured platform to align government engagement with industry opportunity. The forum was held on 25 August 2026 at Palacio San Martín in Buenos Aires and brought together government representatives and leading businesses from both countries.
Commerce Secretary Shri Rajesh Agrawal led the first and largest-ever Indian business delegation to Argentina, comprising more than 25 business leaders. The delegation included representatives from companies including UPL, Kirloskar, and Aditya Birla Group.
Forum discussions aimed at converting government-to-government engagement into tangible commercial outcomes by focusing on:
