The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings from an Independent Drive Test conducted across Hyderabad City to evaluate the mobile network quality provided by Telecom Service Providers (TSPs). This drive test assessed real-time performance metrics such as Coverage, Call Drop Rate (CDR), and data throughput.
The tests were conducted from May 14-16, 2026, covering 157.9 km in city drives, with additional evaluations at 12 hotspot locations and a 3.1 km walk test. The findings were designed to inform consumers on the quality of services and encourage improvements among TSPs.
