The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh to evaluate the quality of mobile network services from May 11 to May 12, 2026.
This assessment focused on various parameters including Coverage, Call Drop Rate (CDR), Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), and data throughput.
For voice testing, different telecom service providers (TSPs) were tested regarding their ability to maintain signal strength, with specific metrics for dropped calls and call silence instances.
