Indiahandmade is a dedicated digital marketplace that brings India’s handloom and handicraft traditions into the online economy. The platform connects artisans and weavers directly with buyers, expanding market access while supporting livelihoods and cultural preservation.
The initiative supports 64.66 lakh artisans in India, a significant portion of whom are women. This highlights the role of the sector in employment, particularly in rural communities.
Launched by the Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Textiles, Indiahandmade enhances visibility for handmade products and opens market opportunities.
The platform emphasizes trust, accessibility, and seller empowerment, providing artisans with tools to effectively participate in the market.
