What happened
The National Highways Authority of India has introduced a centralized framework to share National Highway infrastructure and operations data with recognised Government research institutions. The stated purpose is to improve research efficiency, reduce the delay caused by repeated Memorandums of Understanding, and support safer, more durable and more cost-efficient highway infrastructure.
