What happened: PMMSY approvals and fund release for Ernakulam, Kerala
The Department of Fisheries, Government of India, stated that fisheries developmental projects for Kerala have been approved under the centrally supported Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) over the last five years and the current financial year. The Government of Kerala reported that PMMSY district-wise allocation and beneficiary selection are handled by the respective State Government processes.
For Kerala, the Department of Fisheries reported that PMMSY fisheries developmental projects amounting to Rs. 1413.91 crore were approved during the last five years and the current financial year.
For the Ernakulam Parliamentary Constituency in Kerala, the Government of Kerala reported the following under PMMSY:
• Rs. 8.85 crore allocated to Ernakulam Parliamentary Constituency. • Rs. 8.62 crore already released for Ernakulam Parliamentary Constituency.
The Government of Kerala also reported that there is no proposal pending for Ernakulam Parliamentary Constituency under PMMSY.
