Government-reported progress on Gaganyaan validation activities for human rating aspects included milestones across the launch vehicle, spacecraft subsystems, crew escape, infrastructure, test missions, and recovery/operations planning.

Gaganyaan human spaceflight mission: reported progress and test status

A. Human Rated Launch Vehicle (HLVM3) (human-rated version of the launch vehicle): development and ground testing of all propulsion stages and structures were reported as completed.

B. Orbital Module (Crew Module plus Service Module): propulsion systems for Crew Module and Service Module were reported as developed, tested, and qualified. Engineering model realisation of the Environmental Control & Life Support System (ECLSS) (equipment to control environment and support human life) was reported as completed.
