Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 measures: Poshan Tracker, Saksham Anganwadis, nutrition delivery and growth monitoring

What happened: Poshan Tracker and Saksham Anganwadis under Mission Poshan 2.0

The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) implemented digital and service-strengthening measures under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 (Mission Poshan 2.0). MoWCD rolled out the Poshan Tracker digital application as an ICT-based governance tool. Poshan Tracker supports continuous monitoring and tracking of services provided to beneficiaries registered at Anganwadi Centres (AWCs), with nutrition indicators for children under 5 displayed on the dashboard. MoWCD also approved two lakh AWCs located in Government buildings for upgrade as Saksham Anganwadis to deliver improved nutrition and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) activities.

Saksham Anganwadis: upgrading Anganwadi infrastructure for better nutrition and ECCE

Under Mission Poshan 2.0, MoWCD approved two lakh AWCs located in Government buildings for upgrade as Saksham Anganwadis.
