The scheme set covers institutional delivery entitlements, scheduled antenatal check-ups, assured respectful care in public facilities, strengthened postnatal detection and referral, and cash maternity benefits for eligible mothers, alongside nutrition support for women and children.

1) Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK): absolutely free institutional delivery and essential services
Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK) provides pregnant women who deliver in public health institutions absolutely free, no-expense delivery services. JSSK includes caesarean section and a package of entitlements during the stay and for essential treatment needs.
