What happened: Scholarship support enabled an NC-OBC student to pursue an MBA
PIB reported scholarship support under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for Telu Jhansi Vijay Krishna, a 25-year-old student from Karnataka belonging to the NC-OBC community, to pursue an MBA.
PIB stated that the Top-Class Education in College for OBC, EBC and DNT Students scheme support aims to reduce financial barriers so students from OBC, EBC, and DNT communities can access quality higher education and professional education.

PIB also reported the beneficiary’s claim that the financial assistance reduced nearly 50% of his educational loan burden, lowering stress and improving his ability to focus on his MBA and professional development.
