What happened: “Gnani Artha” sovereign AI stack launched in New Delhi
The Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, launched “Gnani Artha”, a sovereign AI stack comprising Evon 3.3 and Plexus, developed by GNANI AI. The launch took place at Uprashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on 2026-08-29.
The government communication describes the two components as follows:
• Evon 3.3 is a large language model (an AI system trained on large text data to generate and understand language).
• Plexus is a platform that connects AI intelligence with real-world work and institutions (a bridge for applying AI capabilities inside organizational and institutional settings).
