What happened: NCERT reconstituted Political Science textbook development teams for Classes 11 and 12
NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) reconstituted the Textbook Development Team for Class 11 and Class 12 Political Science. A report states that at least four team members have direct or indirect links with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
NCERT named Sandeep Shastri as the head of the Textbook Development Team. NCERT Director Dinesh Prasad Saklani issued the notification for the reconstitution.
