PM-YASASVI structure: four sub-schemes for OBC, EBC and DNT students

The Government stated that the Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for OBCs and others (PM-YASASVI) comprises four sub-schemes:

1) Pre-Matric (centrally sponsored) for OBC, EBC and DNT students

The Government stated that Pre-Matric is a centrally sponsored scheme. In a centrally sponsored scheme, the Central Government releases funds to States and Union Territories (UTs), while States/UTs handle day-to-day administrative steps including processing, verification, sanction and disbursement.
