Highlights of the Second National Skill Olympiad
The grand finale of the second edition of the National Skill Olympiad on Seafood Value Addition was held during Seafood Expo Bharat 2026 in Kochi. Initiated by the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), the Olympiad showcased the skills of ten trained seafood processing professionals.
P. Surya Bhaskar from Devi Fisheries Ltd., Kakinada, emerged as the winner, receiving a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000. Muthu Kumaran and Ms Sagarika Sardar followed as the second and third position holders, with respective cash prizes of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000.
