What happened

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the findings of an Independent Drive Test (IDT) for Kasaragod district in the Kerala Licensed Service Area (LSA). TRAI said the tests were conducted in May 2026 for general telecom consumers.

TRAI said the Independent Drive Test was meant to assess and verify real-time mobile network quality for voice and data services. TRAI also said the findings were shared with the respective telecom service providers for necessary action.
