NCVET recognises Nettur Technical Training Foundation as Awarding Body (AB–Dual) with pan-India jurisdiction
NCVET has recognised Nettur Technical Training Foundation as an Awarding Body (Dual) with pan-India jurisdiction, expanding its vocational certification role beyond Karnataka.

- NCVET is the national regulator for vocational education and training standards in India.
- NTTF moved from a Karnataka-only awarding role to a pan-India awarding role under NCVET regulations.
What happened
The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has recognised Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) as an Awarding Body (Dual) with pan-India territorial jurisdiction. The agreement was signed on 21 July 2026. This recognition matters because it allows NTTF to operate across India within the vocational certification framework.
Background and earlier position
UPSC can ask about the role of NCVET, the distinction between an Awarding Body (Standard) and an Awarding Body (Dual), and how recognition with territorial jurisdiction affects vocational training certification and skill governance.
