MSDE stated that ₹2,392.37 crore has been released for implementation of PMKVY 4.0 in the last three years starting from FY 2022-23 and in the current financial year FY 2026-27. MSDE linked PMKVY 4.0 training to new-age job roles such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Semiconductor, Drone technology, Solar, 3D Printing, among other areas, as per changing requirement and market demand. As on 30.06.2026, MSDE stated that around 5.44 lakh candidates were trained/oriented in new-age and futuristic job roles under PMKVY 4.0 across India.
Key delivery design: demand-driven training and NSQF alignment
