What happened: Kaushal Mahotsav in Balurghat reports large-scale interviews and shortlisted candidates
Balurghat (Dakshin Dinajpur) hosted West Bengal’s first-ever Kaushal Mahotsav as a district-level platform to connect job seekers from Dakshin Dinajpur and nearby regions with employment opportunities.
Government of India communications report the following event outcomes for Kaushal Mahotsav, Balurghat:
• MSDE organised the Kaushal Mahotsav in collaboration with the Government of West Bengal and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
• Over 7,500 interviews were conducted.
• More than 7,000 job opportunities were reported from 50+ employers.
