What happened: MSDE links AI skilling to the unified SIDH platform through SOAR
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) developed the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) as a Digital Public Infrastructure for India’s skilling ecosystem. MSDE says SIDH brings training, assessment, certification, employment-related services and entrepreneurship services onto one unified platform, allowing training providers, employers and government schemes to onboard into a common interoperable ecosystem.
MSDE also uses SIDH to deliver the Skilling for AI Readiness (SOAR) initiative. SOAR is presented as a fully online, self-paced AI learning programme delivered through SIDH by NCVET-recognised Awarding Bodies, with nationally recognised courses aligned to the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
