What happened: Mission Shakti One Stop Centres deliver “one roof” support and get linked with helplines
One Stop Centres (OSCs), under Mission Shakti, provide integrated and immediate support and assistance to women affected by violence and those in distress in both private and public spaces across India. OSC services include medical aid, legal aid and advice, temporary shelter, police assistance, and psycho-social counselling — all designed to be accessed under one roof. The Ministry of Women and Child Development stated these service components and operational progress in a Rajya Sabha reply by the Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Savitri Thakur.
