What happened
Pakistan’s government said at least 88 militants were killed in Balochistan province during a major anti-terror operation launched on 5 July 2026. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said nine militants were killed in the previous 24 hours.
The government-linked casualty tally was presented as part of an ongoing counter-terror action that began after insurgent attacks across Balochistan.
